Welcome to Prairie Ridge
You are one of over 1299 owners of a Recreation Hall, a Community Service Center, approximately 6 mile of greenbelts, a 5-acre park on the 128th Street, a 2.5 acre park off the 215th Ave. E, and a undeveloped 2-acre park at the foot of the Ridge on South Prairie Creek. All owners are also members of the homeowners’ association known as “Prairie Ridge Maintenance Co” that is responsible for managing these common-held properties. Please take the time to read through the handbook that includes the Articles of Incorporation and covenants, together with the Bylaws of Prairie Ridge to learn about the association rules and regulations.
All owners of lots in Prairie Ridge are subject to an annual assessment (currently set at $200.00). The fiscal year runs May 1st to April 30th. The annual assessment funds are used to manage the common held properties, pays for the street lights, maintain liability insurance on the common held assets and to pay employees.
We would ask for your cooperation in honoring the speed limit of 25 miles per hour within the Prairie Ridge boundaries. Our roads were deeded over to Pierce County in the 1960’s, and they are patrolled by the Pierce County Sheriffs’ Department. Maintenance on the Roads or the Pierce County Right-of Way is performed by Pierce County Roads and Operations.
We encourage you to attend monthly meetings of the Board of Trustees on the 1st Tuesday of each month, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Recreation Hall.
